Description

Explore the magic of the rainforest - layer by layer! 

This work allows your child to expand their botanical and zoological knowledge while continuing to refine and develop their fine motor skills, spatial understanding, concentration, and sense of order. 

Children are sure to love the beautiful images and colors on the puzzle pieces and animal coins and will likely enjoy the sensorial experience of removing the puzzle pieces and returning them to the base. 

Variations and extensions include arranging the puzzle pieces out of order when removing them, creating a felt version of the layers of the rainforest, tracing the layers on a sheet of paper and labeling them, researching one or more layers, and encouraging the child to take an imaginary trip to the layers of the rainforest and write about their voyage.
