It also allows children to continue developing and refining their fine motor skills, spatial understanding, concentration, and sense of order.
Traditionally, in a Montessori environment, a child progresses gradually from concrete (Golden beads) to abstract (stamp game). This regrouping board is an extension of the Golden beads material and a variation of the stamp game; sort of in-between in the process of concrete manipulation to abstraction.
This can be used as a stand alone material for introducing and practicing place value, addition and subtraction with or without regrouping, multiplication and division.
The child will master manipulating 2 and 3 digit numbers using this fun-to-use regrouping board.

Board measure roughly 8"x14", made of buttery white maple.
