Description

Who am I? Can you look at part of my skin and guess who I am?

With this beautiful material, the child will learn to: 

  1. Match patterns (match the animal to its skin)
  2. Understand parts to a whole concept (A small portion of the skin is part of the (whole) animal)
  3. Work on sequencing skills (instead of keeping the animal tiles on top of the skin board, keep it separate; ask the child to arrange it in the same order as it is shown on the skin board)
  4. Appreciate the patterns in nature. It is everywhere!!

This material is made of hardwood maple. The skin board measures 8"x6". Each animal tile measures 2"x2". There are a total of 12 tiles.
